Yep, black teens acting like thugs. That behavior is acceptable in Progressive and media circles so expect this story to fall off by the weekend.
Gene Hamilton, 61, of Wichita, Kansas, said he found it unnerving that the upbeat rally music continued among the confusion.

“If people are shooting, they should change the music,” he said.
Shame on the reporter for not asking what the music should have been changed to.

61? Probably thought some "Dust In The Wind" would have been awesome.

About those drunk drivers. They kill over 13 thousand a year. Maybe it's time to outlaw all booze products.

"According to the NHTSA, drunk driving kills 37 people every single day in the United States. About 31 percent of all traffic fatalities nationwide involve drunk drivers."
Guns kill 3 times more people each year.
In 2021, there were a total of 48,830 firearm deaths, an increase of 3,608 or 8% from 2020.
You forgot this part:
That figure includes gun murders and gun suicides, along with three less common types of gun-related deaths tracked by the CDC: those that were accidental, those that involved law enforcement and those whose circumstances could not be determined.
Sorry Skippy,

Drunk driving isn't all attributed to just killing others. Guns kill 3 times more people than drunk drivers. They are only created to kill.

Alcohol is more strictly regulated than guns. There is no constitutional amendment guaranteeing the right to get drunk. You have to be age 21 to purchase booze, but not to buy a gun. You can carry a loaded gun in public, but you can't carry an open bottle.

In Florida, I have to show ID to buy alcohol. Would I have to show ID to buy ammo?

Actually I was thinking about this… you can’t hammer in a nail or screw in a screw with a gun. Even if you use it for sport it destroys things. Its only point of existing is as a weapon. It’s a unitasker. A lot of people will try to make some weird excuse about sport but I mean… come on. I’ve never had one and my life hasn’t ended.

Many conservatives are really suckers for fear tactics, especially if a person of color is involved. Look at Bryce, I bet that is the number 1 reason why he owns a gun.

Humorously, it increases his odds of being shot by someone he knows.

Booze serves the purpose of killing brain cells, destroying the liver and destroying lives, families and marriages. The two have a lot in common. Booze HAS TO GO AWAY FOR EVER IF GUNS DO.

I'd sign up for that...

Good suggestion, from his home state band.

How many monitors has Bryce had to replace, since he throws a rock at it every time a picture of a non-caucasian person appears on screen? :rollin

The media and progressive politicians are in a holding pattern over this shooting. Apparently waiting to determine the race of the shooter to see if they should start banging the white male extremist/gun control drum or bury the story and move on.
Here's a photo of the 2 adults charged and in custody:

Image

And the headlines from yesterday?

"2 men charged..." (NBC News)
"2 suspects in Kansas City parade shooting charged..." (CBS News)
"2 adults arrested..." (ABC News)
"2 men are charged..." (AP News)

And if you read through those 4 stories - not one mention of the race of either suspect, nor a single photo.

The way the media covers these kinds of stories depending on the race of the suspect is so embarrassingly obviously racially biased.

Actually in general mentioning the race of the person should be wholly irrelevant and is kinda dumb when their mugshot stares you in the face when you open the page. Without a mugshot it would be good to have described what they look like. They regularly describe the race when the cops have somebody on the run for whatever that is worth. They might be afraid there isn’t a good way to say “a couple of black men shot up the Super Bowl parade!” Without it coming off weird. Remember that a lot of this stuff is primarily an American phenomenon. We are one of the only countries to get this offended about everything.

ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Survey Says, "Wrong Answer." You are spreading disinformation. The left is good at that.

In total, there were 20,958 gun related murders. The rest were suicides.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has released its latest projections for traffic fatalities in 2022, estimating that 42,795 people died in motor vehicle traffic crashes.
31% of 42,795 is 13,266. 20,958 gun related murders is not close to three times.

You lefties aren't serious about removing illegal guns from the streets. A successful model is already there, one that worked wonders, and you throw up all over it.
