Pondering weather question.

Post by HD74 » Tue Dec 05, 2023 9:34 pm

There are several things at play right now in the mittens weather. I am pondering if any of these are real predictors.
We get the same average precipitation (roughly) each year.
Rain must be way more, as opposed to snow.
So, if we get more rain, wouldn't that translate to less snow?
Rain implies a warmer temperature, so I am leaving ice out of it, you're from here, EXPECT ice.
If you're not from here, get the hell outta the road!
So to condense this, if we get all this rain coming from the aerial rivers, will we get less snow?

You're never too old to learn something stupid.
