What's this Upside? I Hear it advertised on the radio. It's some kind of a ap, they say pays cash back every time you use it to buy gas.

What's the catch? They aren't just giving away cash out of a snese of benevolence. They're making money off it somehow. What is it?

They make money by selling info about you. Just like any other "free" app.

Sounds like GasBuddy. You get cents off per gallon/liter.

Down side is you need to give them your bank info.

I save more per gallon using a cash back credit card.
