Man wanted to get in strangers car

I don't have a really good story to compare it to but.. recently my dad was waiting for my mom out in the car at a store. While my dad was waiting, some lady opened the passenger side door! My Dad about jumped in the air, turns out the lady had the EXACT same car, same color, same model. Oops! nothing bad happened obviously.
Now, the car owner here who fought back, I say good for him but also, he could of been killed.
