Five Guys is a burger joint, Have any of you ever eaten there? Is it any good? They're opening up one just down the street from our place here in Florida.

We're going home in two weeks, so I'll probably have to wait until the fall to try it.

Be prepared for maybe the most expensive burger you have ever eaten. Have had more than a few of their burgers plus fries. I do like the wide selection of added toppings that you can have... all at a price.

Five Guys in Troy, Michigan -

Prices are from $7.79 for a little hamburger to $12,29 for a bacon cheeseburger. Little burgers are one patty, regular are two patties.

Sandwiches like grilled cheese and BLT's, $6.19 to $7.59. Hot dogs range from $6.99 to $8.99.

Fries are $4.99 to $7.69 for a large.

Regular soda is $2,99. Large is $3.19.

Milkshake is $5,49.

The food overall is good, but the prices have gone up. I was there about a month ago, looked at the menu board and decided to eat at home instead. They used to promote it as the best 5-dollar burger you could buy.

A bacon chesseburger, regular fry and regular drink is $21.37.

The last two responses pretty much sum it up.

There was a time we would go there. But prices now are so high, it's cheaper to go to a sit down restaurant and leave a nice tip.

Five Guys is a hard pass nowadays.

Shake Shack is worse.

They are good but getting expensive. I like the cajun fries. And they have free peanuts. But I don't go there anymore.

Can you place your order with a real person, or is it one of those touch screens?

I agree with the others who say it's a decent burger but way too expensive.

They used to give you a boatload of fries though, if you can eat them all. Not sure if they still do that.

There is a real person that takes your order. They always dump extra fries into your bag. I think you'd get better value for your money elsewhere tbh.

"Putting Five Guys in your mouth" sounds like a typical Saturday night for keto more than eating lunch at a fast food place.

Five Guys is great. I love their hot dogs, and they give you a large number of fries. I haven't tried their milkshakes yet.

I dunno about anywhere else. The one by me is strictly face to face at the counter. No kiosk. No drive thru window.
I dunno if you can phone in an order or order online.

Culver's, In and Out, Red Robin and Fat Burger are better.
