How do They do it?

Whenever I come to Florida, they somehow know I've arrived. I start getting emails and pop up ads for local businesses here.
Even more strange, after I buy something, like a new radio, I start getting pop up ads for radios, often for the very one I just bought.
A couple of weeks ago, I bought a new bicycle. Now I'm getting all kinds of unwanted ads for bikes and bike accessories.
Must be the Chinese spy balloon.

Your device ID is shared, and they know your location, whether you like it or not. Also, every browser has a "fingerprint" they can also use to identify you.

Use a VPN if it really bothers you. Then you will get ads for the area that the VPN lands in.

License plate readers announce where you've been and where you're from. Grocery store discount club cards keep track of who you are (if you signed up properly), and everything about your brand, food quality, and product choices. Your credit card company knows more about your travel and spending habits than you do. Your phone carrier knows precisely where you have been, and who you talk to. Not to mention health care providers, utility providers, and more. Facial recognition is very much here and growing.
It is how marketing, governing, and general business is done today, no matter how much we like it or not. It is part of the socialism that I've read you embracing, although I suspect most of that is merely click bait.

Are they prophetic? Can they foretell my future? I've been getting a disturbing number of ads lately for incontinence products.

To a large degree, yes.
You function quite similar to your statistical peers, so pretty much where they go you'll be soon following.
And the advertised product is counting on it.

My crazy ex says the government wants to implant chips in us to track us. I am of the opinion that our government would never spend money to chip us all, when we will pay to do it ourselves. Simple, and the way things should be done. Keep posting those youtubes and TikTok’s!

Naw, they’ve been feeding us chips for years. They hid them in Canadien beer. Nobody expected it, as Black Label tastes a LOT different in Windsor.

Hell, all Canadian beer brands taste different in Canada versus its “imported” counterpart in the US. Biggest reason is because it’s a higher alcohol content in Canada. I’ve had a Canadian made LaBatt Blue Light immediately followed by an USA made one - big taste difference.
