Anyone Have a Chevy Equinox?
Re: Anyone Have a Chevy Equinox?
I've got a test drive scheduled for tomorrow, 2019 Equinox LT FWD, loaded with options and low miles. And the VIN number starts with "2"... Canada!
Woe to you, oh earth and sea
For the Devil sends the beast with wrath
Because he knows the time is short
Let him who hath understanding reckon the number of the beast
For it is a human number
Its number is six hundred and sixty-six

Re: Anyone Have a Chevy Equinox?
I believe all the Equinox were built in Canada. Not anymore, though.
They've moved production to Mexico. So my current Equinox will be my last Equinox.
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

Have a 2015 'Nox. Few problems, like it for the most part.

Re: Anyone Have a Chevy Equinox?
I had a 2010 Equinox (purchased new), it was a bit of a lemon. Wheel bearings needed early replacement, there was a throttle mechanism issue that had to be fixed (under warranty), had a recall for excessive oil consumption (they had to replace much of the engine internals), the heater core needed replacing (I think it was damaged when they pulled engine for previous repair), windshield wiper transmission links broke twice, camshaft position actuator solenoids had to be replaced. When the timing chain broke and the repair cost was more than the vehicle was worth, I sold it to the dealership to scrap and bought a Honda CRV. I'm sure there's more that I can't think of now. The good news is I learned a lot about engines, etc., lol, but as I said, I think I had a lemon and my experience probably isn't typical.
