Did you get a haircut there? If so, how did the barber or beautician do?

She's an Asian lady. She does a good hairjob but it's difficult to understand what she says.

She told me she has a sister living in Canada.

TT has had several long running threads complaining about businesses that have evolved past a 1972 service model, and I want to spread some positivity!

Costco Gas - Ann Arbor, MI 9/24/22

I arrived at the pump with my membership card and my payment card ready to use. They worked flawlessly and I was in and out in 2 1/2 minutes! On top of that, it was 40 cents cheaper than the gas stations just down State St. Finally, paying with cash and wandering away from your vehicle are not options. I appreciate an efficiently run operation that is consistently cheaper than all nearby competitors.
Today, it is 58 cents cheaper than the closest competitor.

What's more pathetic: harassing an old man who is paying to do a radio show or supporting a grifter like Trump?

Harbor Freight. It's a guy store. Women hate it. No window coverings. No cute shoes. The perfect place to waste some time in an afternoon.

Smells like new tires and petroleum products, love it! And they’ll sell you big boy toys! I just bought a cement mixer, don’t know when I’m gonna use it, but I got it!

Rode out to it on my bike today. Forty minutes each way. Spent all of $5.

I've gotten stuff for HB, not top tier quality but for the price it doesn't have to be. Also, for someone like me who only uses a certain tool a handful of times a year, if that, it makes no sense to buy some high end brand. Good store.

On the power tools, if you purchase the extended warranty, they'll replace it any time during the warranty period, no questions asked. I took back my cordless drill because, after sitting in a steaming hot mobile home for months in the summer, the battery wasn't holding its charge.
