I remember it quite well! Afterward I took a walking tour of Chelsea, home of the Purple Rose Theater and Jiffy cake mixes. Sad to hear of its closing.

The Common Grill was featured in our local newspaper a few times, each getting a five-star rating. It seemed like a staple in Chelsea.

I've been to two of them, both organized by Sage. I rode from Ann Arbor to Grand Rapids with Matt on one of them.

I guess we did meet. Were you at the Common Grill one? I did not attend either the Howell or GR one.

I think more than a few folks would show up if someone started pulling it together.
Maybe some face to face would alleviate the "ugliness" you speak of.
