Agree.
Sadly, thousands of people die every day. But it seems the only ones "worth mentioning" are celebrity liberals.
He once said of himself, "I've always been something of a conservative-slash-libertarian.", but even if he was a "liberal celebrity", he was a person with friends and family, and from all accounts, a good man.

Perhaps no response at all would have been appropriate.
Thanks for the civics lesson. You missed my point entirely.Turkeytop wrote: ↑Mon Feb 14, 2022 6:48 pmHoneyman wrote: ↑Mon Feb 14, 2022 5:39 pm

Conservative/liberal/conservative/liberal/conservative. There's little difference. They share the same pro-capitalist anti-working class ideology. The only real difference is that conservatives are open and forthright about their disdain for the working class. Liberals pretend to be our ally.

I briefly met Ivan in Las Vegas years ago. He was having lunch with Dave Thomas and Harold Ramis. Thomas thought I was someone he knew and said "hey, how ya doing?" to me as I was walking by their table. I stopped and said hi. He then figured out I wasn't who I though I was. All three of them were very gracious, very cordial to this nobody and joked about it. Even invited me to join them. Unfortunately, I had a meeting that was starting in 10 minutes and had to decline.

Bowling for Columbine and Roger and Me are great films that a socialist like you should support.Turkeytop wrote: ↑Tue Feb 15, 2022 11:28 amBryce wrote: ↑Tue Feb 15, 2022 11:00 amI am saddened by this. My one brush with greatness was a chance encounter with Michael Moore, also in Las Vegas.
What a dope!
