CAPE CORAL, Fla. (CBS12) — A Florida man is behind bars after blowing up over bacon at a Cape Coral Waffle House.
Cape Coral police arrested Martin Alvarez on Wednesday after he melted down over the cooking of his bacon order.
According to police, Alvarez was shirtless and yelling racial slurs at the employees. When police attempted to arrest Alvarez, he resisted and was threatened with a taser.
Alvarez faces charges of disorderly intoxication, resisting an officer, and simple assault.
Cape Coral is 547 miles from Niceville.
