I bought one at chewy for 25 bucks or so.

Would like to see pics of your pit, though.

Edit…

I can’t seem to make this work no matter what site I try to upload from.

Here's what I've found. If I right click on your image icon, then copy image address, then paste that into the address bar of my browser, it brings up the photo of the dog.

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!

Thanks! Girlfriends dog, the shelter she got him from believed him to be pure pit. He’s got a lot more of that black patching on the other side that you can sort of see the top of in the photo. He’s roughly 60 pounds and a complete ball of energy. Just about 2 we think. Any guesses what else might be mixed in there?

Bryce will know a lot better than I, but those long legs and head shape kinda look like retreiver to me.

I just love the personality that comes through in this picture. You can really see his zest for life and joy he gets from his people in his face. Reminds me a whole bunch of my Kaiser Boy that crossed the Rainbow Bridge a few years ago.

Although it's hard to be definitive from a picture, I would say by looking at it, there is some Mastiff and Staffy in this boy. Not sure which shelter she got him from, but if it was somewhere in the metro Detroit or surrounding area, the chances of him being "pure" pit is almost nil.

There are DNA testing kits that could answer that question if it's something you just got to know. I did one on The Bear and he came back five percent wolf.

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.
