you'll be taking 75 up through Birch Run. Go to Tonys on the way.

I'm assuming this is addressed to Bryce, but for MCRF's benefit, there are several Tony's locations in the Saginaw area - I'd recommend either the Shields or St. Charles locations.

I'll third Tony's as well. The times I've been up to Frankenmuth, I always stop there on the way.

There are Tony's other than the birch run location? I think we are talking about different places.

I remember going to Tony’s every year during spring break on the way to the UP.

Do they still have massive portions of everything?

Nope - same place. Large portions and steak sandwiches. Google Tony's Saginaw area and you'll see plenty of locations.

I didn't think Tony's was still around. Even though I am willing to suspend my diet somewhat on vacation, Tony's is probably not a good choice right now.

We would stop off at the one in Birch Run occasionally going up north when I was young.

Try O's Restaurant in Auburn. On Midland by 9-mile. They were a finalist in the Free Press's Best Burger competition in the last year.

My host has recommended that as well. Definitely on the list now.

Anyone have any recommendations for Lapeer? I will be 5 miles north of there.

Thanks. I may have to go to Attica next week. Google Maps says it's 9 miles away. If I do end up going, I'll time it for dinner there.

I may be able to pimp the person I'm going to see to pay for it. :)

It's the best eating in the area. Its not 5-star, but you will leave satisfied!
