Starting back in September of 1987, Caroline Heldman & Mark Goodman hosted the first MTV's "The Week In Rock". In January of 1988, Kurt Loder took over. Then John Norris also did the MTV News. Then it was Tabitha Soren in January of 1991 (till December of 1998). Allison Stewart also join. Chris Connelly did the movie segments. Serena Altschul also joined in April of 1996 till early 2002 (later of "CBS Sunday Morning" as of now). Others followed including Abbie Kearse (1997 & 1998), Suchin Pak & Gideon Yado in the early & mid 2000's. In January of 1998, "The Week In Rock" changed to "MTV News 1515" Friday nights till the first week of July of 2000 & suddenly it ended!! On June 25, 2009, the death of Michael Jackson was the last time that Kurt Loder & John Norris (along with Sway Calloway) did the very last news segment. It is a shame that it was all over because MTV are now CRAP since!!!!!! Tabitha Soren has been married to book author Michael Lewis since October 3 or 4, 1997!!

Also I want to mention Matt Pinfield who did a great job of hosting "120 Minutes" on MTV Sunday nights in 1997 & 1998!!

He's now the host of the syndicated Flashback on classic rock radio stations.

Yep, I heard "Flashback Pop Quiz" as well back then on WHEELZ 104.5 FM WILZ "Classic Rock That Really Rocks!"!!
