Texting

I don't text. I don't have a texting device and even if I had, I wouldn't know how.
But today, someone who is was unaware of my non texting sent a text message to my phone on the kitchen wall.
The phone rang and when I picked up, a robot voice told me there was a text message for me. Told me to press 1 to hear my text message. I pressed 1 and the same robot voice read the text message to me.
So maybe my phone on the wall is a smart phone after all. Smarter than me, anyway.
