Canceled YouTube Premium Because of Election Misinformation

Post by Deleted User 4520 » Fri Nov 20, 2020 8:03 am

I have been a long time subscriber of YouTube Premium for quite some time as I hated the commercial interruptions so this was a difficult decision. But I am not going to support a paid subscription to an organization that supports content undermining our democracy. So much misinformation is being disseminated and many people are taking it as the gospel. I am largely talking about "The Next News Network" and "RealClearPolitics". All these are doing is planting seeds of doubt against our system and that is very dangerous. I even question "Newsmax".

I canceled YouTube Premium subscription after the Logan Paul Suicide Forest fiasco. Disgusted me that videos with certain viewpoints are censored, yet this clown can post a vid of what was apparently the body of a suicide victim hanging from a tree while making light of the situation, and it gets the green light without a content flag after manual review by YouTube censors. Seeing as Logan was a big revenue generator for them at the time, I guess it was all good. :rolleyes

Here's a good article on YouTube not removing false election claims.
