So, my can of beer has this tiny disclaimer, "Contains: Barley."

Really? Doesn't all beer contain barley? Why the warning? Allergies? Religious objections? I don't get it.

People with Celiac disease can have barley allergies. You can use other grains to make beer if I’m not mistaken.

But for drinkers who are gluten intolerant, that would be no better than barley.

Maybe they should just stick with girly drinks like vodka coolers.

I've a friend who cannot drink the industrials due to adverse reaction to gluten, but likes beer. He's found this:

It's available in N Michigan. YMMV.
