So, during the lock-down, I've made a few videos showing some of the things I've trained The Bear to do and shared them on Facebook. I put this one up yesterday. To get this result, you use a training technique called shaping.
At the moment, I'm working on a step by step how to video to teach folks how to accomplish this.
Originally, I had him getting a beer out of the refrigerator, but since the naked hot tub incident, my wife won't let me drink that much beer anymore.

He can do that and has. The downside is sometimes he'll help himself to a steak or various other food stuffs. He just can't help it. I have a beverage only fridge downstairs that he does it, but there isn't enough room to shoot a video because that fridge is behind the bar.
