Lock Down Boredom

Post by Bryce » Fri May 15, 2020 6:38 pm

You know people are starved for entertainment when the entire family gathers in the living room and watches the new Roomba vacume for 45 minutes.

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

We don't have a Roomba. I just watch my wife doing the vacuuming.

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

Depending on what she's wearing, that could be fun too!

Here in Ann Arbor they reopened the 10 acre dog park a week ago. That is on my daily list of diversion.
Other than that and the occasional grocery trip we watch too much television.

I have the vast outdoors of Northern Michigan to keep me entertained....

I am doing some rust prevention and rebuilding the brakes on a vintage Audi, after that I will get to reassembling the 1969 Volkswagen squareback.

And a fresh quarter barrel of Man in Black Oatmeal Stout that came out of the kettle on Tuesday.

Too bad you fellas don't live nearby I've been handing out growlers.

Ontario is slowly reopening. As of today, the middle class can go golfing again. But we still aren't allowed to have our Union meetings.

You could hold one while golfing.

I don't golf. Anyway, It would hardly be a meeting if I was the only one in attendance.

Get your ham license, you will never get bored.

They're shooting DX over the north pole tonight.

I'd only be interested in working HF and I don't have the real estate here to put up a proper antenna.

For folks with long hair dogs, Rooma's are a Godsend. Why I didn't get one when they first came out, I can't imagine.

I have mine set to start at 2:00 AM. Bingo, I wake up to a perfectly manicured and hair free floor.

My wife thinks it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. I'm afraid she may leave me for the Roomba.

Have you thought about the lawnmower version?

Nahhh, then I wouldn't have an excuse to drink a couple of beers when I'm finished.

Good point. On the other hand you could sit on the porch and drink a couple beers while watching it mow for you and a couple more in it’s stead when it’s finished.
