What's the dumbest thing a person can believe?

This is not intended to be a political or theological discussion. Again, a serious question, not intended to trick or trap anyone.

I think it's "that could NEVER happen to me".

The people it happened to thought the same thing.

It always astounds me when people fall for the old scam where someone calls claiming to be a bank officer trying to catch a dishonest employee. They instruct the person to go to the bank, withdraw a large amount of cash and hand it to me outside the bank. It happens all the time.

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

That my actions and/or words have no impact on others. True in both a positive way, like doing or saying something nice, and in negative ways.

That the government is real and they are free, when it's actually a corporation owned by 5 different families, all working for the House of Rothschild, and we as citizens are actually taxable property

That the tooth fairy and Easter bunny are essential... or real.

No he’s saying the first part is dumb to believe. Then he goes into what reality actually is. This particular poster is a conspiracy nut. This was established previously.
