Simple things we used to do before Covid

Blow out candles on a birthday cake and joke "don't spit".

Not so much any more.

Handshake. I'm thinking that's gone for good. Except with dogs.

I heard on the news the Britain's chief medical guy was having an affair with a married woman.

So much for the 6' foot rule with non-family members.

Another classic example from the experts of: "do as I say, not as I do".

Eat at Buffets. They're saying that they have a long time to recover before they become big again.

They might need to hire a few spoon jockeys.

On second thought, if everyone wears a mask near buffet and uses hand sanitizer or is supplied with gloves it should be ok.

Not sure how you would eat with mask though, LOL.

Our Schutzhund training grounds, which is a club, has been closed since the end of March. Not only do I miss our bi weekly visits, but it has negatively impacted both of my dogs physical and mental wellbeing.

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Stay inside the store and look around, after you've already picked up what you went in for.

We live near a quaint downtown area. My wife and I really miss going there with the dogs, walking around, looking in shop windows, people watching and getting a small ice cream cone for the pups to share. We did it at least a couple evenings a week spring through fall.

Haven't done it so far this year. I think we could probably get away with walking around the downtown area because no one could tell if we lived in the area or not, but I know were not supposed to do it, so we don't.

Visit parents / grandparents in a care facility.

Isolation - already a feeling for many - is at a whole new level now.
