Clermont woman accused of video sex call with California inmate
A Clermont woman had a video sex chat with her boyfriend in a California jail while a child was in her bedroom, police said.
Noelle Leigh Rascati, 32, had a 12-minute live video chat in March that turned explicitly sexual, according to records. Rascati and the inmate, Tathan Holt Fields, proceeded from sexual talk to masturbating during the call, which an affidavit says happened while a child was in Rascati’s bedroom.
The incident was discovered during a review of the video in Santa Rosa, a community 60 miles north of San Francisco. The pair spoke through a service provided by Telmate, which allows video calls between inmates and family and friends.
An investigation led to Rascati, who was arrested on April 4 and charged with lewd and lascivious exhibition in front of a child under age 16, records show. The arrest report does not list the age, gender or possible relationship of the child to Rascati.
Rascati was released on a $2,000 bond and is scheduled for arraignment on the felony charge on May 18.
Fields, 26, is serving a sentence in Santa Rosa for burglary and grand theft charges, but also is accused of mailing a letter with what he said was anthrax to prosecutors. Santa Rosa Jail records list him as Rascati’s boyfriend.
