This isn't necessarily my opinion. Just a link to something I found online.

Unfortunately, many of these rankings confuse ease of training with intelligence. The two are completely separate issues.

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Agreed. A dog that doesn't blindly follow orders may be a sign of intelligence.

I read once about a police canine. He had done his job and had the guy cornered. Al the cop had to do is cuff the guy. Instead, he ordered the dog to attack. The dog refused the order.

I have to agree with most of this list. However many breeds have genetic dispositions to perform certain rolls. If you don't understand the nature of hthebreed it's really not fair to put a label of dumb on them. Beagles are just outright assholes but are intelligent dogs.

Our neighbours have a Newfoundland dog. Whenever they use their pool they have to tie up the dog. Otherwise he would jump into the pool top rescue them.

Exactly what I remember as a young lad (minus modern radio, of course). I will try to find pictures.
