I agree on not closing businesses you stated earlier. However, It's no different than the requirement to wear some clothes in public.

Let business owners innovate and reopen, just wear a mask when in there. It's a tradeoff.

A virus like this isn’t something you just innovate around. And frankly I trust.. you know... HEALTH PROFESSIONALS over small business owners with my well... HEALTH thanks.

They can spell out their plan before reopening if that is your only hangup.

China reopened things after requiring masks.

I like the hard stances many stores are taking. Meijer and I believe Walmart are requiring their employees to have their temperature takes and a health questionnaire before their shifts. If it's not good you are sent home. And Target is limiting the number of customers in the building at one time. Some places like Kroger and Target are giving their associates an extra couple of bucks per hour being on the front lines. Tbh, I'm not sure if my store is doing a damn thing as far as rewarding associates or hard line measures like limiting people in the store at a time. The health and safety of associates and the public should be of the utmost importance before all else. Without us, the stores would be NOTHING.

And several countries over there are now seeing a spiking of cases after they reopened. They are now talking shutting back down in a few places. This idea that they can come up with a plan on their own, execute it and just wear a mask and it’ll be ok is from fantasy land.

It's going to happen. Nothing is perfect.

In fact, top Health Care Professionals have been in error in their recommendations, such as face masks and efficacy of Hydroxychloroquine. Medicine has been politicized in recent years, and that gives us less confidence in their recommendations in some cases. Also, Medical students in the last few years are no longer trained to think and analyze individual situations outside the box, they have been rote trained to obey protocols, some of which may not be best for individual. Remember that many protocols are about cost containment also, because of insurance company requirements.

There’s a ringing endorsement for a government health insurance plan if I ever heard one.

That makes no sense at all. Socialist health care is a giant boondoggle, which leads to rationing, and making choices who lives and dies.

Not healthcare.. that would remain private. Just the insurance part. This is a distinct difference with actual socialized medicine that conservatives somehow can’t grasp. The government eliminates health insurance companies but all the actual healthcare stays private.

Some states have gone to $1000 fines for people being out without legitimate reasons. Michigan is looking at this. Our Sheriff and Prosecutor have teamed up to write $500 tickets to businesses who can't follow simple rules. I say go for it. Hit the idiots with something the do care about if they lack the decency to contribute to the safety of their communities. These idiots are the drug dealers of this crisis and it's time to get hard on crime.

Social distancing is a joke, you need 27+ feet and three hours, indoors.
