First robin sighting

Post by Matt » Thu Mar 26, 2020 7:07 am

I forgot to post this on Sunday, but that was the first time I saw one this year.

What's more pathetic: harassing an old man who is paying to do a radio show or supporting a grifter like Trump?

I saw a whole flock of them nesting in a tree about a month ago. Maybe it's warmer somewhere near there where they stay when it's cold.

I saw my Robin today fighting with a window.

A Street in our town passes through a narrow, single lane tunnel. Traffic through the tunnel is controlled by a traffic light on each end.

In the lane for the south bound traffic, a robin built its nest in the housing of the light, obstructing the view for drivers City workers, instead of removing the nest, erected a new temporary light, to serve until after the robins have left the nest

That’s pretty cool even if Over a Street is precarious spot to fledge from...

The street, Kipp's Lane, is near the University. With the University shut down, there isn't much traffic these days.
