Many of the Metro Detroit locations have become or soon will become Love's Furniture (named after its largest equity holder), which is a start-up.

They promise no overbearing sales people. The CEO is a millennial who lives in Troy.

The store on Woodward Ave. south of 14 Mile is already open. A permanent sign hasn't even been affixed to the building yet, which makes me wonder if even the company isn't certain about its ability to survive.
The Ann Arbor location on Eisenhower is a Love's now.

Traverse City will become a "Value City Furniture" location. Yay, more particle board junk!
Snob! Not everyone can shop at Ethan Allen, Regular folks like cheap.
That's why regular folks don't live in Traverse City.

Ethan Allen went out several years. The colonial traditional stuff doesn't work in our area.

Love's was at 32 stores this summer, and now they are soon to be down to 13 after the latest closings. The Ann Arbor location that was Love's for a hot second is now slated to become a Value City Furniture.

Have heard nothing but horrible things from the Warren Love's. Poor quality furniture.

They/them, non-binary and proud.
