Is that a Shiner?
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.
Re: Name The Beer 2.1
No, and I'll add that this is another beer that - up until now - I've only highly enjoyed via bottle.

Re: Name The Beer 2.1
Couldn't be Celebrator could it? That would be sacrilege. Nah, if it's the beer in the glass, too light. Could be a wheat.

Re: Name The Beer 2.1
Not Celebrator. Nice, sweet, wheat bock. The beer in the glass (I know - not the proper type) came out of the can.
Probably better enjoyed during much warmer days, but @ 48F up here today and quite a while since I'd been able to find it, I could wait no longer...

Re: Name The Beer 2.1
Well, that's not easy to do with beer from this region but I didn't much of a clue either.

That's one I've never seen. Can or bottle. Will have to look for it this Spring. The Goat gave away the bock aspect, but Shiner was the only bock I've seen with a yellow can. Should have known it was a weissenbier by the color.

The pic below is about 8 years old and not very good, but the beer was.
Heller Weizenbock was the 1st German beer that made me sit up and take notice that, Hey! Becks is not the only German for Beer, and made me care. Heller remains one of my rather elusive favourites.
Plank also makes an OK Helles and Hefe.
I try to take pictures - good or bad - of non-common beer or wine I really enjoy so as to remember it if I have more than one .
I've also found 'em handy to show to waitstaff or shop owners of what I want, in case they look at me funny the first time I ask if they have something.
