Lakeport was a non-Union brewery in Hamilton ON. About a dozen years ago Labatt's bought them out. They shut down the Hamilton plant and moved production of the Lakeport brands to the Unionized main Labatt brewery in London ON.

I'm liking Heineken lately... Does Labor Council made count?

Damn, you're good.

Old Style Pilsner is one of Molson's 3d tier brands. I don't even know anyone who drinks it. It has zero advertising budget.

But strangely, they did some product placement in the popular TV show in Canada, Corner Gas.

Any time any of the characters in the show were drinking beer, it was always Old Style Pilsner.

Not much to go on there, but laces similar to the previous.

Maybe Grolsch Premium Pils...

Had a more revealing clue on standby just in case. But it wasn't needed. You're good.

Sipping on a 25oz can of Hurricane High Gravity Malt Liquor. It's 8.1% ABV. Really hits if you haven't eaten all day.

Just moved to Central Cali from So. Cal and popped into the West End Bar & Grill where I was very pleased to find Pliny the Elder on tap.
Others there were very excited about a Parabola, but I am not big on stouts. Nice to know my closest pub has some great beers on tap. I can actually walk to it, and stumble back. This was a great life choice to move here. I will have to kick up my wine game though. Being so close to Paso Robles, everybody in this area is into their vino.

Well shit. You’ve won the beer lottery! That’s one of my holy grails of beer drinking! Enjoy!
