If they run up medical costs under insurance, private or public, they do hurt you though, running up insurance premiums and copays, and causing rationing, they do hurt you.

Since so often we compare ourselves with say, China, and that their kids are supposedly smarter than ours, etc., it's relevant to wonder why pot is illegal there. We should find out what their research found for their billions.

Then find an insurance company that insures people who don’t use pot.
