Finally found an appointment... Saturday at 130 with Kroger doing the honors, second one on the 24th.

Just remember - keep that arm moving. The best analogy for you is to suggest using both arms like you're trying to reach around one of the fat girls you like so you're hands touch.

What was my window for pain again? Sounds like 24-48 hours?

My arm pain was minimal. There was light fatigue... if that makes sense.

That’s about what I get after a migraine I think... kind of a gentle hazy hungover feeling?

Yeah - I'd advise drinking a lot of water too.

Noted, thanks for the advice on dealing with this.

I have also heard that eating a light to moderate meal prior to the shot reduces the chance of stomach upset.

When I got my first jab the nurse asked if I had taken anything like Tylenol in the 24 hours prior to the shot. Evidently that can cause issues, although when we were done she suggested taking a dose when I got home to combat any body aches. I have found through talking to people the key to keeping arm pain down is to relax your arm as much as possible when getting the shot.

Just got home from second shot. Was warned to expect a rough 36 to 48 hours of fever, chills, body aches, headache and fatigue...No matter what it is worth it.

Got the first one about 90 minutes ago. Arm is already sore and I’m getting tired. Lovely.

Thanks zzand I really appreciate that! :)

On that note I’m laying down right now about to do just that as a matter of fact. My girlfriend looked right at me when I told her I was getting tired and sent me home to sleep. Fwiw to any of you guys I got the Pfizer version.

You got it done on a Saturday, so you will probably be good by tomorrow night.

I had no pain or discomfort at all around the injection site. But now, three days later, my arm is starting to itch.
