The Jeff Christie School Of Broadcasting 1971

Not that bad as a DJ. Adored and tried to copy Larry Lujack, to the point he once used the surname Lujack on the air on one gig. His dream, like many DJs, was to end up being a DJ at WLS. Never became a DJ at WLS, but was far more successful than Larry Lujack ever was. Lujack hated him.

What they taught at broadcasting school at that time was how to cast a broad into a lake.

Perhaps you are referring to that early 1980s Lansing Area DJ known as "Chester The Molester"?

Thanks to Jeff, there's no longer a need for "broadcasting schools." No more entry-level jobs at small and medium market stations. Everything is satellite-delivered. A blowhard on 600 stations from noon to 3pm means 600 broadcasters have to work at McDonald's.
