Any idea as to where these former WNIC personalities are today Dick Shafron, Gene Maxwell, Jim Harper and Steve Gannon.

I saw Dick last year at Buddy's in Farmington Hills. He was with his sister Cathy, who's another Detroit-area broadcaster, with assorted other family members. I almost didn't recognize him because he'd lost a lot of weight since our high school radio days. I wish honeyman had been there with us.

Steve Gannon passed away in December 2014.

Last I heard, Jim Harper was doing a Saturday airshift on WLXT Light 96.3 Petoskey. Reportedly, he was driving past the studios on US 31 South of Petoskey one day and decided to go in and see what was happening, and Trish MacDonald offered him a job.

Is THAT where they got the idea for the 486-SX?

Jim Harper is currently on the air at some Hot AC station in the area.
I guess he didn't like retirement

No one hears anything about how he’s doing nowadays, is he still alive?

I saw Stacy Duford doing weather on 62 a while ago. Always thought she was a blonde when she was on the radio.

Quite a few years ago in the Detroit board, someone posted a few years worth of restraining orders that Harper filed on Gannon.

I honestly don't remember the details, but it was definitely at least three consecutive years of restraining orders. I know someone who had dealings with Steve that I can't get into on a public forum. Suffice it to say he had a troubling past. Don't you dare pm me to ask for details. Or do.
