Former 2020 host Hugh Downs died at the age of 99. (not to be insensitive but I didn't know he was still alive.)

I don't think anyone knew he was still alive. I thought he died shortly after that Today 60th anniversary thing that he was on.

A fairly innocuous personality; though he wore several hats as a national television host, the only thing for which I'll remember him is being the host of the game show Concentration.

He had once worked at WWJ-AM just prior to the advent of WWII, from 1940-1942.

I remember him co-anchoring 20/20 with Barbara Walters.
