Someone looking through binoculars, the view is always shown in two side by side circles.
I don't mean to brag, but I just put a puzzle together in 1 day and the box said 2-4 years.

Whenever there is a flashback the filmstock and photography are different. (Then again that might be just competent filmmaking to let the audience know what's going on.)

In the horror films, when dead people walk, they walk with an unsteady gait and hold their arms straight out in front of them at shoulder height.

When the cops are interrogating a suspect, it's always in a darkened room with a bright light shining right in the suspect's face.
