I remember CFCO in the summer of 1969,this was on a Sunday, Dad took the Family to Point Pelee Park in Leamington ,and coming home about 6 in the evening Dad had 630 on the radio ,they played a Andy Kim song and then The Guess Who then they did the 6 O’clock news then after that my favorite show The CFCO Obituaries of the day report.(Needless to say what a way to end a perfect day)Do radio stations still do Obit reports?

I did hear obituaries on CFCO in the mid-2000-naughts when they were oldies.

Years earlier, my wife and I, on vacation, were listening to WNTT, Tazewell, TN (1250), when they finished their news. They announced four obituaries, two of which were for people who passed away in Monroe, MI.

Heard as recently as the summer of 2017, on CKNX that had the Blue Jays mid-week day games that CHOK didn't air: the game broadcast joined in progress at approx 12:50 PM after the obituary and funeral notices.
