Heard in Whitmore Lake:

Star 88.3 (unable to tell whether this was WEAX Angola or WLAB Ft. Wayne)
88.7 WICR Indy
90.1 WFYI Indy mixing with WUCX and WYBA
91.3 WCSG Grand Rapids
92.3 WTTS Bloomington-Indy
92.3 WIL St. Louis (New Country 92.3)
93.1 WIBC Indy (flashed in HD)
94.1 WHBC Canton
94.7 WFBQ Indianapolis (locked in HD; took out WCSX)
95.1 WAJI Fort Wayne locked in HD
97.9 WGNR Anderson IN (took out WJLB)
99.1 KLJY Clayton-STL (99.1 Joy FM)
99.5 WZPL Indy
102.5 WMDH (Nash FM) New Castle IN
102.7 WCPZ - when did they flip from Hot AC to Mainstream AC?
103.3 WOLT (Alt 103.3 - formerly WRZX) Indy
104.5 WJJK Indy
105.7 WYXB (B105.7) Indy with all '80s weekend
107.9 WNTR (The Mix) Indy flashing in HD

All of the Indianapolis stations except 92.3, 93.1 and 94.7 and both of the St. Louis stations were brand new catches for me.

Very interesting. There is nothing seen here, that isn't also seen under all conditions here (three miles north of the Ohio line and four miles west of Lake Erie).

Only change is that WLMB's "Radiant" 40.2 subchannel is gone. This doesn't make sense, since Dominion owns Radiant, and can just keep airing it with no further expense.

I guess I won't get this tropospheric because colder air from Lake Erie is cutting it off.

I have a SXM receiver in the house. I feed the audio into a C Crane FM transmitter so I can listen on an FM radio anywhere in the house or out in the yard. I use 90.1 MHZ because that is a frequency not in use in this area.

It was getting stepped on all this weekend.

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

I wonder if this was affecting VHF as well?

I was getting some strange (spanish?) speaking conversations on Coast Guard 21A channel on my scanner the past few days. Now, we do have a foreign (European) ship docked in port in Bay City; so it's a possibility it was that. However, the Coast Guard never responded to any of the conversation, which leads me to believe this was Tropo/Skip.
