FM translator signal range in Metro Detroit

The technical side of broadcasting. Think IBOC is a sham? Talk about it here! How about HDTV? Post DX reports here as well.

KBHR internet radio/a tribute to Ciceley AK.....guess I didnt pay much attention to Northern Exposure...But hey...we have 50,000 watt KJNP..King Jesus North Pole which is really south east of Fairbanks.....

I had asked somewhere about ground conductivity,,,AM 820 KCBF is 10,000 watts...AM970 is 5K...both in permafrost heaven three miles north of town and only about a football field or two apart on each side of the road.....
970 used to have their studios out there til the building kept settling, tilted and had to be torn down....
