Format Idea- Upbeat 80s and 90s Country and Classic Rock

This idea I'm sure has been tried someplace, in fact a few years back I remembering hearing this station from Missouri, it was on 101.3fm, no idea what the call letters were/are or city of license. If I recall it was a bit of a mix of classic rock and country. I very much liked it! Many people I know listen to both country, classic rock, 80s, and oldies.

No slow or sad country songs. More straight ahead classic rock, like Aerosmith, Lynyrd Skynyrd , Molly Hatchet, Van Halen, not so much stuff like Pink Floyd or YES.

I'm not sure how commercially viable this format would be but it makes sense, at least in my head. Say like...

Van Halen- You really got me
Alan Jackson- Chattahoochee
Rick Derringer- Rock and roll hooche coo
Clint Black- Killin Time
Aerosmith- Dude looks like a lady
Randy Travis- T-R-O-U-B-L-E
Hal Ketchum- Small town Saturday night
Molly Hatchet- Dreams I'll never see
Billy Squire- Don't say you love me
George Strait- Ocean Front Property
Confederate Railroad- Daddy never was the Cadillac kind
Motley Crue- Dr. Feelgood

It would probably do okay in a small, rural market with little competition
