Everyone at ALL ACCESS is deeply saddened to report the passing of legendary Superstar Voiceover Artist CHRIS CORLEY following a brave battle with pancreatic cancer (3/21). He was 55 years old. CHRIS and his son CHRISTOPHER were still healing from the loss of wife/mom MELISSA just a few years back (NET NEWS 10/21/15).

CORLEY was just recently announced as the recipient of a special BENZTOWN 50's newest and now highest honor, the BENZTOWN ICONIC VOICE AWARD for Lifetime Achievement in Voiceover.

According to BENZTOWN, "Over a 36 year career, CORLEY has been the voice of FOX, MLB, DISCOVERY CHANNEL, NICKELODEON and the BROADWAY show and tour of BOOK OF MORMON. He's also been on-air as a radio talent in WINSTON-SALEM, NC; GREENSBORO, NC; CHARLOTTE, NC; FORT MYERS, FL; NASHVILLE, TN; NORFOLK-VIRGINIA BEACH, VA; ATLANTA, GA; LOS ANGELES, CA. CORLEY’s distinctive voice has also been heard on some of the biggest television stations in the U.S., including stations in NEW YORK CITY, SAN FRANCISCO, DENVER, WASHINGTON, DC, and his hometown of FORT MYERS, FL. He has also voiced numerous commercials and movie trailers for major films."

ATLAS TALENT AGENCY President LISA MARBER-RICH told ALL ACCESS, "After 25+ years together, our hearts are broken at the loss our dear friend and client. The world will be a quieter place without the melodious sounds of CHRIS CORLEY."

ALL ACCESS has learned that a Celebration Of Life honoring CHRIS is set for APRIL 6th in FT. MYERS. More details as they become available.
Pancreatic cancer has claimed another fatality...

Among his clients were WUPW since 1998 and WTOL since around 2013.

My furthest DTV tropo: KDKA Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at 202 miles for three days in January 2017 and a night in September 2017 with only an Antennas Direct C2V!

Current setup: Antennas Direct C2Max (2018-present)

This is truly terrible news; pancreatic cancer is a terrible disease to befall anyone.

Mr. Corley was an OUTSTANDING voice talent. Virtually anyone who's watched TV or listened to the radio has heard his work at some point.

I'm deeply saddened to hear his wife passed away in autumn 2015. This must be an extremely tough time for his family.

Numerous radio stations across the country are now going to need to find a new V/O guru, including WIOT in Toledo, WRKR in Kalamazoo, WMMQ in East Lansing and WLAV in Grand Rapids. (Banana 101.5 already began a slow transition to Steve Stone.)

In Detroit, he was most recently heard on 96.3 WDVD, and prior to that, 93.1 WDRQ.
