Wrong market for AAA. They should have gone Music of your Life.

Reno has another AAA station. A commercial FM station that is highly adventurous when it comes to introducing its audience to music, and guess what? Its numbers aren't bad!

The reason the public radio AAA station failed is because it's nowhere nearly as good as KTHX, evidently.

BTW, I thought "Rock" was dead? The active rock station in Reno seems to be doing VERY well.

Interesting looking at the ratings for Reno. #1 station KKOH operations manager is former West Michigan/Montague native Dan Mason. Dan worked at WLRQ/Whitehall and WMUS/Muskegon before heading out west many years ago.
