Re: Goodrich looks to transfer WPRR FM 90.1 to Tyrone Bynum
Why would anyone want it? Even in the best of times, it seemed to be off the air more than on. It's coverage is basically just the rural blueberry fields of NW Allegan county. The signal can reach into south Holland, but that is fringe. I didn't look at the coverage map until you said it...holy cra...

I am not super sure that I read that properly, but, there's a line about no financial transactions taking place... they're giving up the license essentially free?

Dan Patrick > Better than anything ESPN has on right now, with Le Batard being close second. I know that's a hot take, but I'm a poor millennial that likes memes and nonsense.

Re: BIG 101.3 FM — Fun Hits You Know
An incomplete website has gone up at https://1013big.iheart.com/ It is cookie cutter iheart crap. I can't get listen live to work. That further suggests a rush job to get the station on the air. My pet peeve is logos that are designed incorrectly around the actual name of the station. The graphic s...

Re: BIG 101.3 FM — Fun Hits You Know
I listened intently (in HD, might I add) on the way from GR home to St. Joe and had the station locked in for quite a bit. HD stuck around to about Zeeland and then began dropping, but the analog stayed solid well through South Haven tonight. The playlist is filled with "oh, wow" moments that felt l...

Re: WMUK finally responds to sluggish ratings; major programming changes underway!
I like this change quite a bit, being in the fringe of almost all three signals for NPR in St. Joseph. Every one of them has noise somewhere around town. On the page Michigan Media mentioned above, it's slightly misleading to see that they used the fringe signal pattern to show that 102.1 would stre...

I'm more of an Alt rock guy, modern rock guy, but I love this station. If anything, I'd maybe like more dry segs between songs and less jock talk between.

Also happening on weekends, almost every break. No complaints here. haha. Also of note, a stopset around 2:30 this afternoon was completely empty. Not good. The station was supposed to be running commercials but evidently had none to run.

When we were building a new plant for 99.9, we were told feedline for the tx was in HIGH demand due to the tv repack. I think everything right now is either difficult to get or backordered.

Driving back from GR this morning to St. Joe and heard, spoken quite slowly and effectively, 'W-K-L-Q ... Holland Grand Rapids' at the top of the hour. It was like a twilight zone episode but fun to hear again. Bravo on recognizing heritage.
