Re: Matt will be happy - I'm now on the "dump Trump" bandwagon

Ok, I've finally had enough. In a lengthy statement on Thursday night, Mr Trump dismissed the Florida governor as a political lightweight who had come to him "in desperate shape" when running for his first term in office in 2017. "Ron had low approval, bad polls, and no money, but he said that if I...

Re: Future of GOP leadership in Michigan

Supposedly, DePerno (a disaster) and James Craig have expressed interest in the GOP leadership post. Craig is easily my preferred choice between the two, but the incompetence he exhibited in running his campaign for Governor does worry me. Both are hard passes from me, but Craig is a better choice.

We need to cleanse the party of Trump loyalists.
You mean like DeSantis?
You must not be paying attention.

Re: Future of GOP leadership in Michigan

When will the hillbilly from Milford be given a swift kick in the ass out the door? Meshawn Maddock has been a total disaster. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing Tudor Dixon assume the helm of state party leadership. I had the same thought - I think Maddock needs to be punted as far as humanly poss...

Re: 2022 Election Results Thread

John James wins his Congressional race by roughly one-half of a percentage point over Marlinga, a rather stunning outcome given (a) earlier polling showing James with a far wider margin in his favor and (b) the amount of money James' campaign and groups supporting James spent on TV advertising. The...

VP's from Indiana never have much luck with advancement.
One term VP's from Indiana, you mean?
Well, it's not his fault he was only in for one term. His second term was stolen from him in a fraudulent election.
Except HE never said that...

Re: Better lucky than good

I don't think anyone LIKES abortion. Look, my wife and I are trying to have a child. We are both pushing 40, so we won't have the same chances as we would at 25. Twice this year, we have lost pregnancies. The first one happened naturally, but the second one, we didn't know she was miscarrying. She ...

Re: ‘We got cheated’: Pro-Trump online communities in disbelief over lack of a ‘red tsunami’

Anyone that is pro-trump is a fucking moron. You watch… the base will stick with him, ignore DeSantis and the muckety mucks will acquiesce. Personally I hope Trump does great. Best thing to happen to the GOP in a long time. Agreed. Every Dem should vote for him in the ‘24 primary to ensure a better...

Re: 2022 Election Results Thread

As an outsider who hasn't been following closely, can someone please bring me up to speed? Has it been determined yet who will control the US house and the US Senate? No. The senate may not be determined until December, there are still about 50 house races to decide. We will have more clarity by th...
