The real estate market is relatively hot - especially residential - and GVSU evidently could not ignore the financial upside. The 850 site is just down the road from Hoffmaster State Park and 1480's site is abutted by an existing subdivision and shopping. Exactly. The shutdown has been in the works...

With WMAX at a .9 I guess the Big Guy moving over there didn't change anything.

I do cross paths with Jackie from time to time and never had any issues. If the behavior described here exists I haven't seen it.

A couple things:
- The signal has gone to crap. 88.5 FM was coming in more reliably in Byron Twp. and the far southern part of Wyoming than 95.3 when I checked Friday.

The translator is now considered a fill in which meant it needed to go directional and reduce power.
