Re: Why does Biden need new legislation to "shut down" the border?
What do you propose he do in lieu of said legislation? Who says he needs to do anything different than what he's already doing? Did you not read the original post or watch the video? His press secretary says: "We are stopping the flow at the border. What the President has been able to do on his own...

Re: WLLZ Continues Doing It
Any Aerosmith after 1976 is SHIT! I disagree. Draw the Line was a great track, and even that album had a few solid songs. After that was when the wheels fell off. Why not spin Let the Music Do the Talking? That was a good one. NOPE! Dream On. Rag Doll. Living on the Edge. There are a few Aerosmith ...

They'll make a mention on WCSX and WLLZ and then play REO Speedwagon.

Oh, please. Please. They could report that the sky is blue and it would be a leftist conspiracy.

Re: WLLZ Continues Doing It
It's 2024.
Boston was released in 1976. That's 48 years.
Journey's "Escape" was released in 1981. That's 43 years.
Toto was 1978. That's 46 years.
In 1990, how many full powered FM stations were still playing music from 1945?

Re: WLLZ Continues Doing It
I think the problem is (other than corporate radio being afraid to even think about thinking outside the box) is that you start adding songs from that era, and you're going up against WRIF. And that never ends well. But you can't sit there and tell me there's no market for that stuff. You just can't...

Both MW and I have said over the years that a format somewhat similar to Sirius XM's "Turbo" channel. I do believe it's time to up the span of years that count for "classic rock". These songs were burnt out and upwards of 20+ years old when *I* was a child. Come on.

Re: Blackburn’s Cool FM’s
I snagged SO many great tunes from K 106.3. I could pull in FM 96 out of London if the conditions were just right, and I got a lot of great stuff there, too.
106.3 I think has seven translators in the area, so even if it was still around, I couldn't get it. And now 95.9 is...country.
That's dead.

It's my understanding that, so long as the check on Sima's desk clears, you can do whatever you want. I say we take up a collection and broker a few hours of programming. Let's make that happen.

Don't get any of them. On 95.1 I get country and on 100.7 I get...country.
One from Flint, the other from Lansing.
