Ryan Kelley is an asshat

I cannot believe people actually voted for this insane nutjob:

Re: Freep Endorses Kevin Rinke in GOP Governor Race

Good call, Audio.

I think Rinke mostly owns or has owned GM dealerships.

I was thinking Vega or Chevette myself. :)

Re: Vin Scully dies

He began calling Dodgers games when they still played in Brooklyn; incredible. He was a phenomenal broadcaster whose tremendous career will likely never be replicated. GOAT? Hard to argue against that.

R.I.P. indeed.

Re: Voting this morning

Gibbs defeats Meijer in a close race - 51 to 48 percent. I'm not happy with the outcome, obviously. In SE Michigan, Haley Stevens wiped the floor clean with Andy Levin. Stevens' advertising strategy was much more effective than Levin's. The commercial of Levin's I kept seeing on YouTube stunk. Remin...

Re: Detroit Tigers 2022

The Tigers just traded Fulmer.

Sounds like rebuild #2 is afoot.

Fulmer was on an expiring contract. He should be delighted he's going to a team (Twins) with a decent shot of making the post season.

I suspect Chris Apathy Ilitch will allow Al Avila to keep his job.

Are we all in agreement that Pearson needs to be fired / not renewed?

I certainly think he needs to be shitcanned in view of the WilmerHale report.

Re: First Capitol Rioter to Face Trial Gets 7 Years

I was hoping to see the "watch your cornhole" line from Office Space.

I agree with Rate This that the sentence seems too light.

New market manager for Cumulus GR named

Bruce Law quietly exited in January of this year. Will be interesting to see if any dead weight gets canned now that someone new is in charge. https://radioinsight.com/headlines/235879/derek-falter-joins-cumulus-grand-rapids-as-vp-market-manager/ The press release makes no mention of The Q 94-5 (WKL...

Re: Tudor Dixon Michigan's own Sarah Palin?

Because they engaged in some arguably dirty tricks to try to get zoning approval for a new store in or near Traverse City. Muchmore helped broker the deal that gave Meijer a piece of the former State Fairgrounds on Eight Mile Rd in Detroit. Some on the left were up-in-arms that the state sold portio...

Voting this morning

My precinct was pretty empty. I voted 10 minutes ago and was the 36th ballot cast. There were way more poll volunteers than voters. Only one candidate sent a volunteer to hand out literature - it was for Reggie Reg of WJLB fame! He is running for state representative. The gentleman volunteering for ...

Re: Tudor Dixon Michigan's own Sarah Palin?

TC Talks hates Dennis Muchmore because he hates the Meijer corporation. The fact of the matter is Mr. Muchmore was the one man trying to help Flint residents get their concerns addressed. He was doing the right thing. Sadly, he was presented with lies and misinformation just like Flint's residents. ...

Re: Todays Music, Todays Wheelz

Jazz 106 was a great station, and undoubtedly, its ratings success contributed to 98.7's decision to dump Active Rock in favor of Smooth Jazz. In one of the old R&R Nielsen ratings page screenshots previously provided by Mega Hertz, WJZZ at one point was the top rated station among Men 25-54. There ...

Shall I keep calling 106.7 "Fake Wheels," or shall I switch to W.I.N.O. (Wheels-in-name-only) ?

The answer to your question is because state "experts" repeatedly told residents that the water is safe.

Re: Worst firings in broadcasting

Thanks for the link to the informative article, format this. Let's face it - he was fired because he was a leftover from the Fetzer era and Mike Ilitch wanted his (vastly inferior) buddy, Jim Price, on the air. That move was disgraceful, in my opinion. Thankfully, Ernie Harwell joined the TV booth a...
