Mike Valenti: "You've been outscored 100-17 the past three games. That should only be acceptable if you have a Radio Shack R on your helmet and you play in Piscataway, N.J."

Amen.

Re: Sick of all the Climate Change Bullshit

I think it's much more simple than that. These people are just fucking cretins. You can't argue with them because facts don't matter to these idiots. "I know better than thousands of scientists....it's snowing in October, climate change is a hoax!"

Re: MLB Playoffs

Scherzer scratched tonight...neck and back spasms. We might see the JV-Max matchup in game 6.

Re: Michigan football - predictions

Dominating performance by UM yesterday. I always root for UM to lose, except when they play OSU or ND. Then I root for one of those blimps like in the movie Black Sunday to kill everybody in the stadium. Question for you Wolvies..... Would you consider the year a success if you beat OSU, finish 10-2...

Re: MSU and UM are winning this weekend

Awful moldy, completely awful. Time for them to give Dantonio the golden handshake and get a new voice in there. Offense is unspeakably bad, defense continues to make stupid mistakes, special teams blow as always. Horrible performance.

Re: MSU and UM are winning this weekend

Not really that bold of a call.....Michigan is a slight favorite. I guess I am going out on a bit of a limb supporting the Green the way they have been playing, but I've seen this before. They put things together and put out a solid effort and win a game they shouldn't. And then they shit the bed ag...

MSU and UM are winning this weekend

Got a weird feeling that both of the squads show up to play 60 minutes and on both sides of the ball Saturday.

FWIW, Vegas has the Spartans +6 1/2 and Michigan as a one point favorite, down from -4.

Re: Todd Rundgren's funniest song

He produced "Bat out of Hell" for Meat Loaf too, another fantastic piece of music. Todd was waaaaay ahead of his time. I think he was 21 or 22 when he came up with Something/Anything. Check out the chord progression on "Hello it's Me", which I believe was the first song he ever wrote. Your post made...

Who else wants to see Verlander and Scherzer square off against each other in the World Series? :D :hat
Thought we were gonna see it. Nats chose Max to start game one though instead of Strasberg. JV pitches game 2 for the Stros.

Re: Todd Rundgren's funniest song

Damn, we agree on something, matt. Todd Rundgren is one of the most underrated songwriters ever. The entire "Something, Anything" set was a masterpiece. "It wouldn't have made any difference", "Cold Morning Light', "Couldn't I just tell you" were classics along with "Hello, it's Me" and "I saw the L...

Re: Michigan football - predictions

LOL, just the response I figured from you, matt! Blame the refs as always, and then accept defeat as a moral victory. No, the fact is Jimmy didnt have them ready at kickoff....again. So they lost to another ranked team....again. And any Michigan loss wouldnt be complete without a gag job, would it? ...
