Seems like a no brainer to get vaccinated...
Keep in mind, most of these people are no brainers.

Re: Got My GMRS License

Is getting a license just a matter of paying a fee? Or is there a test?

Re: Any Robins Yet?

Has anyone else noticed there are no longer any robins around? It's been weeks since I've seen or heard any. They can't have flown south already.

I've been thinking maybe, this summer was so hot they flew further north to escape the heat. Might stop off here for a day or two on their southward trek.

It's the presumption of guilt. There poverty has to be due to a moral weakness.

No one is using horse dewormer.
Them why are farm supply stores in both of our countries selling out of the product? Some have removed it from the shelf and are only selling it to customers who they know are horse owners.

If it's the Trump vaccine why are Trump's disciples rejecting it in favour of livestock meds?

Re: Got My GMRS License

So, if I use here in Canada, a handheld unit I buy in the US, I will be operating illegally? I'm thinking no. First reason would be power. A radio from the states would put out more power than you are allowed. Your GMRS handheld can't have a detachable antenna. Handhelds in the states can use after...

I Voted

Canada's election will be held Sept 20. I'll be working all that day on the campaign to re-elect our Member of Parliament. So my wife and I voted today on the first day of early voting. It was a mess. Due to covid restrictions the lines were long and slow. It took us almost an hour to get through. E...

Canadian authorities recently evacuated college branches across New Brunswick. When asked why, a spokesman for the investigation said the detectives were "investigating a file". https://atlantic.ctvnews.ca/evacuation-underway-at-multiple-n-b-universities-police-on-scene-at-unb-investigating-a-file-...

Have you ever worked with some of those folks who NEED to be drug tested? He was in a union, so yes. Right. I just explained that in my previous post. My only brother worked HR at a large non-Union plant. According to him, drug problems were just as pervasive there as at any other workplace.

Re: Got My GMRS License

I believe that might be an unlicensed class in Canada. Some FRS radios cover the GMRS band. But I've never heard of any licensing requirement to use it.
