Re: Stream 419 app
I have no problem with inoffensively placed commercials. Creative and interesting programming created by humans deserve a revenue stream. Apps that play multiple intrusive ads the moment I start playing the station frustrate me to no end, especially when the ads are placed over content that is in pr...

Re: WJOI 97fm 1987
I don't know how anyone could stand listening to that boring, sleepy stuff. :x :x :x The death of the B/EZ format might be the best thing to have ever happened to FM radio. With all due respect, I don't know how anyone can stand having their eardrums blasted by heavy metal. But we're all different....

Separating the twin leads of speaker wire… is that the same concept behind rabbit ears that separate outward away from each other?

Re: Sale of Windsor's CKWW in the works
I am actually distraught over losing CKWW. It’s the last remaining vestige of The Big 8. I had to endure WOMC today and I thought to myself, “is this what I have left?” Looks like I am done with music on terrestrial radio. Zoomer is a good alternative, depending on the time of day, year, and my loca...

Re: WITCH HUNT! Weaponized Justice Department!
“I will however NOT be seeking re-election for a second term in 2024 as my family deserves better than to be under the gun from the press all the time.” Oh look, the consequences of the lying actions of a corrupt politician. He really means "I deserve better than to be under the gun..." as he wants ...

Re: Worn becomes Warren again after electing first female mayor!
OK, this board can bust her for exorbitant Jimmy John's costs and assume nasty things about her health and appearance, but I notice other costs on that chart of Payees. I notice a Professional Party Planner and Eastpointe Manor. Is it possible that these costs are related to a banquet of some sort, ...

Re: WJBK signal strength?
I’m about 15 miles from the TX site with a rooftop antenna, and some nights WJBK has been unreceivable, as in “no signal found”, and other nights it’s been pixelated and weak. It was fine a few nights ago.

Seems like a 20 year home isn’t very long for a major TV station. I wonder where they will move.

Re: Trump will be president in 2024
So you want to play semantics here? Does "President-elect" work for you? btw - to answer your question, while the chances are astronomically small that he could actually serve as President in 2024, they're not zero. I'll leave it to you to figure out how that could theoretically happen. And I’ll le...

I noticed it last night. Just like 62.4, 62.5 doesn't broadcast any program information so I'm not sure what this programming is.

Re: Mixed Feelings About WJR since their Lineup Change
I understand your point, but I wasn’t commenting on the topic of self checkouts in my post. That wasn’t my point. I was commenting on the content of a radio show. I don’t mean to be rude, but the complaining about it on the radio for the past 25 years, as well as the latter part of your comment, is ...
