The dishonest, bought and paid for Detroit media refuse to objectively report on the shitiness of the track, the main issue being its tightness.
Kudos to the Indy Star for its excellent reporting. The drivers agree with me; it's a fucking go-cart track.
Great find, Mr V!

Re: What happened to Ronnie Dahl on channel 12?
She stunk in Detroit. She was bad on Fox 2. She was even worse on channel 7. The way she reads copy is painful as a viewer.

I agree with TC Talks 100 percent on this topic.

Good question. I think he left 91X in 2017 or 2018.

The Grand Prix is lame
I think I've driven faster on the go-cart track than these Indy car drivers. The speeds were pitiful other than the wide straight-away section of the track.

Getting back on topic, I think Audiophile's post is insightful. Clearly explains a lot of the problems Ford has been experiencing lately. And TC Talks is right, too. The seasoned veterans have been pushed into early retirement in many instances.

Re: New station coming to Ludington area
https://fccdata.org/?lang=en&facid=762369 Decent coverage. Probably will complicate reception of WVIB 100.1 in the Baldwin and Idlewild areas, though, which is unfortunate. Those Muskegon County class A signals have surprisingly good reception in that region much of the time. Call signs sometimes of...

Alt 103.7 in DFW still has "Post Modern" on Sunday mornings; why can't WDZH?
I think I know the answer to question - it's because Brad Steiner is a fucking terrible Brand Manager. Why is a guy who programmed the last place or second to last place station in the tiny New Orleans market qualified to run an Alternative station in a top 15 market? Steiner is lazy when it comes t...

Re: Dave FM gets ditched in San Francisco
Live 105 had mostly terrible ratings the final 10 to 15 years of its existence. The station was a moderate success in the 90s. By the end of the 90s, it wasn't even the top alternative station in the Bay Area; KOME was. 3 of Indy 103.3's past 4 ratings surveys have been piss poor, and their playlist...

Re: Z93
I agree. CFX sounds very, very stale. Station hasn't sounded good in ages. Too bad, because it was a great station 20 to 25 years ago. The fact the area has never had an honest classic rock station (aside from an LPFM that left the air a decade ago) amazes me. WUPS doesn't quite cut it, in my opinion.

Having TPIR as a lead-in helps.
Being #1 in any daypart is nonetheless impressive for an upstart news department.

Good question. My guess is they've not done so yet because they don't want to hire additional staff and lose money. I suspect the ratings for the weekday newscasts are abysmal.

If local news is making money, there is no reason to do away with local news.
My guess is the cancelled newscasts in places such as Flint and Toledo were turning little to zero profit.
TV news operations that actually amass large viewerships can charge a pretty penny for advertising.
