Re: Severe Weather/Tornado Break-Ins
I don't mind them breaking into programming in early June they broke into programming WZZM & Wood TV along with the sister stations went wall to wall with the weather. Major hail in Battle Creek & Allegan with the wind with thunderstorms was on for about an hour even know it didn't hit where I lived...

Re: TV Weatherman calls out jive alerts, Sinclair fires him
It wasn't a smart idea to go on an extended rant on-air as he did. That was rather unprofessional of him. Also, I've never seen this "Code Red" verbiage used on WWMT - a fellow Sinclair-owned station. This supports the notion that individual stations do have some flexibility. My guess is the weathe...

Re: FCC Probes Sinclair Over Tribune Media Bid
I see a major fine for Sinclair and also a major scolding as well I don't see them losing their license thou. Yeah, the car dealership was shady along with selling WPIX for $15 Million to Cunningham as well Sinclair wanted to keep everything which smaller to midsize markets is fine but major cities ...

Re: What if WJBK aired Fox Kids
Disney Afternoon when Fox added the 3RD hour to the Fox Kids block killed Disney Afternoon in midsize TV markets where most Fox TV stations signed on for Disney Afternoon or they would only air the newer shows from Disney Afternoon morning hours or late afternoon after Fox Kids signed off. Aladdin w...

WXYZ: AnneMarie Laflamme was one of my favorites on Fox17 when she was living in West Michigan,
Alicia Smith, she also came from West Michigan working at WWMT.
Fox2 Kellie Rowe & Amy Andrews.

Re: Flint Water trials cancelled
Just changing chairs on the boat is all Dana should have kept the charges as is. I don't trust her I have disliked her from the beginning for AG Pat Miles would've been the much better choice as AG on the Dem side would maybe have voted for Pat if he won. Tom would have been the better AG than who w...

Re: Janet Mason to Retire...
I'm surprised that WZZM hasn't just put The Justice Network on .2 and just shutdown OnTarget Weather Network and move Quest to .3 just my opinion. It wasn't until June of 2015 when Charter added OnTarget Weather Network was taken off last year for Quest I think Comcast also did that as well. WZZM wo...

Re: Sinclair Seen As Top Bidder At Fox Regional Sports Network Auction
I see Stadium content going onto 21 RSN's that Sinclair bought wonder what they're going to call the new RSN's? I pretty much knew that Sinclair was the top bidder when it was a handshake deal a week before it was made public that Sinclair was buying the FOX Sports RSN's.

Nexstar, TEGNA also has signed a few TV stations as well for Cour...

Re: Breaking: Nexstar reaches agreement to purchase Tribune
Yeah, I saw that WXMI was adding Court TV on the Court TV website last week coming in Nov as well. Which means that Antenna TV & This TV move to Nexstar as they are going to be the new owners of those networks when the merger is final in the fall. And I can see a swap between Nexstar & Scripps for a...
